The introduction of Stream
Travelodge recognised the need to enhance its colleagues' financial wellbeing. While the company was already focusing on providing stable contracts (avoiding zero-hour contracts), and offering career progression through its Aspire development programme, it required an innovative tool to support employees from a financial wellbeing perspective.
This led Travelodge to introduce Stream as a key part of its 'Better Me' wellbeing strategy, which addresses emotional, physical, work, and financial wellbeing.

- Improved payroll accuracy: Track allows colleagues to check their submitted hours which has led to greater accuracy in payroll and fewer queries for the management team.
- Drop in employee turnover: Travelodge has seen a lower drop in employee turnover in 2025 compared to 2024.
The platform's additional features, such as Workplace Savings and access to financial coaching are also key components. The save function is actively promoted to encourage financial resilience. Since launch, £1.1 million has been deposited into savings, indicating habitual, proactive saving.
